In 2018, the special school had a humble beginning. With the vision to cater to the entire northeast, usually ignored or often late in the process to receive development, it was important that LRF reaches there to provide support to children and adults with autism, developmental delays and behavioral disorders. Creating awareness about the importance of ABA therapy to help individuals with autism and providing free/subsidised sessions for the needy, the centre has also been instrumental in generating employment for the young women of the region. 

At the centre, therapy provided includes– speech, language, communication and social skills, cognitive development and special education.
